About the recent Linux kernel vulnerability fixes

I’m currently on 22.03 LTS. I see that the fixes for 31431 and 43284 are both based on 22.03 LTS-sp4.

Can I directly install the kernel patch for 22.03-sp4 on 22.03?
Or do I need to upgrade to sp4 first?
