Upgrade completed (pending restart). Task shows upgrade failed after clicking restart

Upgrading RHEL 7.9 to openEuler 20.03-LTS-SP4, the x2openeuler WEB platform shows the task as failed during upgrade. The task execution reaches “Pending Reboot to Take Effect.” After clicking “Reboot,” the task fails and cannot proceed to the next step:

After the target machine completes OS upgrade, installation, and reboot, the kernel has changed from Red Hat’s 3.10 to openEuler 20.03’s 4.19:

This is likely a bug in the migration tool—checking the target version before confirming whether the restart command has been fully sent. It should be sporadic.
